Tok Bok Hot Spring Make Over 2012 is one of the highlight project in Toyota Eco Youth 2012. The project was done by The Young Nature Saver, a school team from SMK Machang who was representing the state of Kelantan in showcasing their environmental efforts . The project involved the toilet and playground repainting, mural by UITM Machang, recycle dustbin installment, water treatment program and the rebranding of Tok Bok Hotspring including new reflexology trail and informative signboards.
UMW Toyota Motor has launched the 12th edition of its Toyota Eco Youth (TEY) corporate social responsibility program, collaborating with 16 schools nationwide to engage their communities and local councils in finding solutions to environmental issues. Established in 2001, TEY aims to promote environmental awareness and preservation among the younger generation. En. Ismet Suki, President of UMW Toyota Motor, emphasizes Toyota's global commitment to the environment. The TEY program, spanning 12 years, has involved 146 schools and invested over RM 4 million. This year's theme focuses on solid waste management, clean water, global warming, or recycling, with participating schools generating awareness and engaging their communities. The program concludes with a convention and prize-giving ceremony, offering cash prizes for winners. The participating schools include institutions from various states and federal territories, emphasizing the program's nationwide impact.
