NaSLeC amplifies students' rights.

The 2022 National Student Leadership Conference (NaSLeC) took place on 2 - 4 December 2022 at INTI International College, Nilai.
National Student Leadership Conference (NaSLeC), organized by the Higher Education Youth Association (HEYA), in collaboration with the Department of Higher Education
(JPT), National Youth and Sports Department (JBSN) and Inti International University (INTI)
is a conference set to fight for higher education reform and youth politics to bridge the gap of educational inequality, increase employability and reconcile mental health youth through youth participation in policy making.

This 3 days 2 nights program offers students a good platform to voice out their rights and concerns education matters. They had debates on a few motions in Model United Nations sessions. These debates resulted in NaSLeC 2022 Declaration which is supposed to be paid attention by Malaysia education ministry, universities, medias, and related parties.

The program includes interactive talks with various topics surround students. For example, disability inclusion, education inequality, student representative council reformation, and unemployment. The talks ranged multiple expert speakers from their respective fields.

One of the significant talk was delivered by Dr Noraishah Mydin, a neurologist with spida bifida. She addressed about the disability rights and her long-life activism in spina bifida awareness. Her special appearence as a speaker with a wheelchair represented the voices of all the persons with diabilities (PwDs).
