The eMpowering Youths Across ASEAN Programme, launched on ASEAN Day (8 August 2018) by the ASEAN Foundation and Maybank Foundation, is a transformative initiative aimed at empowering ASEAN youths through social volunteerism. This program provides a unique learning platform that encourages diverse backgrounds to collaborate on addressing local community issues across ASEAN countries, including Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand. Participants engage in impactful projects, advocate for sustainable solutions, and receive numerous benefits such as grants up to USD 27,000, mentorship from Civil Society Organizations and Social Enterprises, networking opportunities with fellow changemakers, and exposure to regional stakeholders.
