ASEAN Youth Contest for Early Warning and Anticipatory Action in Disaster Management
The ASEAN Youth Contest for Early Warning and Anticipatory Action in Disaster Management aims to raise awareness among youth in the ASEAN Member States about the importance of early warning and anticipatory action in managing disasters. It is a campaign that encourages youth to share their experience with disasters and how youth can play a role in building resilience in the community against disasters. Participants are also encouraged to showcase how digital advancements can be used to strengthen early warning and anticipatory action, especially to reach the last mile.
The entries are invited in four categories:
- Creative writing,
- Film/multimedia,
- Art/interactive, and
- Digital innovation.
As part of the Youth in Climate Action and Disaster Resilience Day, 12 finalists will be invited to showcase their talents in Bangkok, Thailand.

The essay competition “Integration Experience of ASEAN for the EEU and the EEU Experience for ASEAN”.
The ASEAN Centre in MGIMO, Eurasian Economic Commission (#EEC) and the ASEAN Moscow Committee (AMC) are pleased to announce the essay competition “Integration Experience of ASEAN for the EEU and the EEU Experience for ASEAN”.
The Eligible participants are students and young professionals from Russia and #ASEAN (up to 35 years) interested in history and current state of integration in the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) and ASEAN, promising avenues of the EEU-ASEAN cooperation, issues of the EEU and ASEAN practical functioning and interregional connectivity.
Author of the best essay from an ASEAN Member State awarded with a trip to Moscow 🇷🇺, the author of the essay from Russia got a chance to travel to Jakarta 🇮🇩.
