About the program:
Digital transformation is an effort to reshape the global economy, impacting society, the economy, and career development. In this regard, MCMC and Microsoft Malaysia are organizing the “AI TEACH - Digital Skills Enhancement Program” for all Malaysians. With the strengthening of digital technology and artificial intelligence (AI), it has the potential to provide opportunities for the career development.

About AI Teach:
"AI TEACH" by Microsoft is a collaborative initiative with the ASEAN Foundation to enhance AI proficiency among educators and students in the ASEAN region. The program focuses on equipping Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) educators with essential AI skills through comprehensive training sessions using the Microsoft AI Trainer Toolkit. It aims to integrate AI into the curriculum, thereby enriching the learning experience and preparing students for future workforce demands. Additionally, AI TEACH promotes inclusive workforce development by targeting underserved communities and bridging the digital skills gap, involving partnerships with nonprofit organizations, government, and industry leaders to ensure a comprehensive AI skill application and economic growth in the region

YSEALI Bootcamp 2022
YSEALI Boot Camp 2022, led by Biji-Biji and supported by US Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, aims to empower talented youths (18 to 35 years old) from all over Malaysia to spark fresh ideas and drive innovation through civic engagement.
Starting in November 2022, a series of 2-day Boot Camps held to provide participants with the skills, tools, and knowledge necessary to initiate their civic engagement campaigns. The Boot Camps will culminate in a round of pitches, where participants can compete for seed grants to implement their campaigns. Eight winning teams will receive funding worth RM 4,500 each, along with three months of mentorship to execute their campaigns. These winning teams will then showcase their progress at a physical finale for YSEALI Boot Camp 2022, scheduled tentatively for August 2023 in Kuala Lumpur.
YSEALI Digital Connectivity Regional Workshop 2022
The United States Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, in collaboration with Sarawak Digital Economic Corporation (SDEC) and Center for Governance and Political Studies (Cent GPS), is organizing the Young Southeast Asian Leaders (YSEALI) Regional Workshop on Enhancing Digital Connectivity For All in Kuching, Sarawak from June 14 to 16 2022 With 100 participants from ASEAN and Timor-Leste, alongside digital industry stakeholders, the workshop aims to address digital connectivity challenges. Participants will engage in discussions led by expert speakers on topics such as digital inclusivity, local digital economies, data privacy, and regulatory frameworks, culminating in the creation of policy papers. The workshop, inaugurated by Sarawak Deputy Minister for Energy and Environmental Sustainability YB Dr Haji Hazland bin Abang Hipni and U.S. Embassy Charge d’Affaires Michael Newbill, underscores the importance of connectivity for socioeconomic development. Supported by recent commitments in the U.S-ASEAN Summit, this initiative highlights the United States' dedication to fostering digital infrastructure development in ASEAN through collaborative efforts like YSEALI.
